I just received my standard issue Starfleet Away Team jacket. I’ve been wanting one since I saw them at Star Trek: Mission Chicago in 2022 before Strange New Worlds even premiered. Excellent Leather Shop has made an incredible version of the jacket and I’m highly satisfied.

Just received my jacket and all I can say is “Wow!” This jacket looks and feels amazing. When I first saw them in SNW, I started looking for one and came across Jameel’s thread on TheRPF. The level of care in the posts removed any doubt I had about waiting to order this one vs getting a cheaper version. This jacket is absolutely worth every penny.
I asked for custom pockets to be added (because you can never have enough pockets) and they look perfect. They emailed me a few weeks after my order saying that the jacket was done, but they had made a mistake and made the length shorter than I had requested. They gave me the option of taking it as is or remaking it. I knew it would take longer to arrive but requested the remake and it is perfect! And it still arrived in time for Christmas! (Truly a Christmas miracle!). The construction feels solid and the leather is pleasently soft. I will definitely be ordering more jackets from here in the future.
