I am a strong sewist, but I really really really didn't want to fight with the flight suit. Deciding to purchase it, and then to purchase it from ELS, was a big choice for me. I measured carefully, and crossed my fingers.
Just under a month later, the flight suit was at my doorstep and it fits SO well. It's hard sewing custom for a body that you can't see. I imagined I'd make some small adjustments when it arrived. Instead, I put it on and I was thrilled. It's comfortable, well-made, and accurate. I'm so excited to finish my kit and start wearing it out!
Bought the suit (and the gaiters!) in august, produced and delivered to Italy in about a month. They double checked some measurement (that were wrong on my side) and produced a suit that fits like a glove. The quality is great (materials and sewing details) but I am really impressed on how good it fits without trying it during the process...I purchased other tailored items in the past from other vendors and this is by far the best fitting I have. 501st approved!
Fantastic, really good. It's a perfect fit as ELS were able to tailor the sleeve length for me. The quality of materials and manufacture exceeded my expectations. I was a little apprehensive ordering online unseen and unable to try it on first, but everything has turned out well. I'm very happy.
My son chose this as his costume this year. He is so excited and happy with it! He wears 32x32 jeans and is about 5’11’’ and the medium fit him well. The quality is great and they paid attention to details. The order came quickly and communication was excellent via phone and email.
Really impressed with the quality: the wool feels durable, and the shearling cuffs and collar are beautifully done. I ordered it custom-sized, and ELS checked my measurements carefully, which helped with the fit. My only gripe is that it’s a bit heavier than I thought, so it's not super easy to carry over the shoulder. But once I put it on, I feel like Santa and in a good way.
